Æ - Constantinus I IOVI CONSERVATORI; Siscia RIC VII# Siscia 7 [επιλυμένο]

I've bought this coin. It was being sold as “Roman Empire - Constantine I The Great - follis Jupiter”. It has around 22.3 mm in diameter, and weights around 3.36 g.

Obverse has "…MP CONSTANTINUS AVG" (I'm guessing it's “IMP” on the beginning)

Reverse has “IOVI CONS… …ORI SIS” (I'm guessing it's “IOVI CONSERVATORI SIS”)

From what I've searched here on numista, it seems it's something similar to these two:
N#391853
N#139860

But the bust and the text on reverse doesn't match.

Might be a different RIC number. Ocre has the best online resource for that.

It's minted in Siscia. But many similar coins were minted there.

https://numismatics.org/ocre/id/ric.7.sis.7 Going to be one of these the lettering is all that really counts and overall desig. different spacing between the letters and minor variations of the design don’t matter when determining type.

Η κατάσταση άλλαξε σε Επιλυμένο. (magicznyleszek, 10 Απρ 2024, 07:37)

Thanks! I've added the coin to Numista catalog: N#409618

I'm not sure if it will be correct catalogue number. There are8 many variations and every letter is important. If you don't have full inscriptions it will be very difficult to choose right one.
