5 DM thinner coin – an error? [επιλυμένο]

Dear Friends,

I have a question about my 5 DM coin:

N#843

Its pictures are on the left, and on the right are the pictures of a “control” coin:

It is somewhat thinner (1,87 mm compared to 1,98 mm), lighter (9,92 g vs 10,1 g; all parameters were measured with the same devices), and the inscription on the edge is clearly shifted towards the obverse side. Just wondering: could this coin be considered as an error coin or is everything within tolerance and I am just being too picky?

Thanks in advance for your opinion.

In my opinion it's inside the the limits, unfortunately I have still not measured all my around 80 different 5 DM, but here are those I did measure

Thanks, it looks like the difference in thickness is not very big indeed (the same as 2,02 - 2,14 mm). What caught my attention - was a bit eccentric alignment of the inscription on the edge (it almost touches the face from obverse side).
