Japan 50 Sen - Taishō 1935 - Shōwa Aluminium Pattern Maybe or maybe fake

Hi guys, 

I buy a nice of asian coins bunch and I found this coin, 

Something it is missing . weight it is around 3,9 - 4 grams and diameter it is around 23,5 mm. A it made by white metal aluminium or something like it.

a cheap silver coin but without year

I don't see somebody faking this coin worth 5 bucks in a stupid manner to lose a letter. 

Please let me know your opinion.

What do you mean without year? It's Showa 10 but if your scale works it's quite under weight.

ok I see it mean it from 1935. Sorry my mistake. I not familiar with japanese coins.

Yes, yes.  There is only a year 13 三十 pattern in the catalog. This is what OP meant by missing date, missing the 3.

Weight it not by far as shoud be it is between 3,9-4 grams so no forgery for me.

Need a better reference than Krause.

A genuine silver coin (teeth of the rim and the relief of the letters are different)

Yes it is clearly not a genuine coin. 

Strange but material seams like 2 francs 1941-44 french vichy state. White-ist , light weight, tannish look. 

Clearly the mistery it not solve yet.

For such a quality strike, it could possibly be a tin pattern
