Check this out this page from Numismaster … https://numismaster.com/?id=1912829

It is an Australian 1 Dollar coin on Numista >>> N#337832

They have just given it a KM# 4319

On their page they have it as Peru Mint instead of Royal Australian Mint

They have it as weighing 13.8 gram when it is 9.0 gram

They have it as 30.5mm diameter when it is 25mm diameter

They then give the same coin which has a privymark a completely different KM# 4320 ? … Why?

They have done the same/similar thing with another 3 coins in this series.

Just who is running that place and do they know what they are doing?

They just make mistake after mistake, very unprofessional.

To be fair about the weight and diameter, there are over 200 1 Dollar coins with those values.

Every modern collector should stop using KM# for years 2020 and after like if it was a reliable source. I know there are some that will never admit it but they will…eventually. 😎

Yes I do know about those 200 Australian 1 Dollar coins because I added about 95% of them to Numista. 😁

They are all Perth Mint coins. You can thank me later. 😏

There are also over 400 Australian 1 Dollar coins (Aluminium-bronze 25mm) issued by the Royal Australian Mint on Numista. (I added most of them too.)

But the issue is that Numismaster not only can not see or tell the difference between a Perth Mint oversized $1 Australian coin and a standard sized Royal Australian Mint $1 coin but they then label them as from the Peru Mint? Really?

Just for the record this is the size comparison between a Perth Mint Aluminium-bronze $1 coin and a RAM Aluminium-bronze $1 coin.

When you see them in the flesh they are very different. Both are perfectly legal tender here in Australia, but you will never find a Perth Mint $1 coin in circulation. They are only issued as NCLT.

For Numismaster to mis-label a RAM $1 coin as if it was a Perth Mint $1 coin and then list it as made by the Peru Mint shows a lack of creditability on their part. They need to remove the Master part from their name.

Anyway that is my bitch/rant over. Sorry if I come across as being a bit tough on them. Another member on here has given me a contact there to see if we can get things sorted out.

But on the bright side, according to them Elizabeth II is still the ruler.

There are 251 2022 and 208 2023 Australian coins listed for 2023. Have you checked all of them?

According to the Numista guidelines if she appears on the obverse she is still shown as the ruler, or joint ruler with King Charles III, on coins issued since her death.

We have just had the first King Charles III 1 Dollar coin issued into circulation this week. Queen Elizabeth II is no longer shown as ruler on that coin.

Regarding the 2022 & 2023 coins you mentioned I would have validated them all at the time they were added, some of which I added myself. A few of them have been given KM# numbers by Numismaster so far.

In a way you have to applaud them for at least having a go to allocate KM# numbers to Australian coins because at one stage they were 6 or 7 years behind the actual releases. There are still a lot of gaps though. If they were smart they would use Numista to see what they have missed.

This is a search(Missing KM#)  that shows all Australian coins on Numista with missing KM# numbers, there are 1381 of them.

I meant there are 251 2022 and 208 2023 Australian coins listed in Numismaster with KM numbers. The first one on your “no KM number” link, N#240641 is KM# 4027.

No I haven't checked them on Numismaster. I just don't have the time at the moment to look at them currently. We do have a couple of members on here who are working through some of them though and gradually they are being whittled down.
