I feel like it's a translation issue. I'm understanding Fake = Error The two errors that need to be corrected are the coin type needs to be changed to “Circulating Commemorative” And the translation for the dates on the reverse should be changed to 2000-1903 (as that is what's directly on the coin). I may be misunderstanding that though and they are asking the obverse dates to be changed.
"What we are is not as important as what we aren't"
The coin is NOT a fake (counterfeit) but a legitimate circulating, commemorative coin (should be modified!), the OP can do that with just a normal CR (Change Request), if he doesn't mind to “work” a bit instead of just criticizing.
The years are OK as written on the coin, the decision was taken to leave them as they are, and you know that, so stop your old quest of minimizing a better man than you.
has very peculiar feature: everything is written in Arabic! There is no a single symbol in any language. That is why the dates next to the portrait 2000-1903 of the passed away the winner of independency of the territory being written in Arabic were translated correctly as it was described in the first post.
"
But simultaneously some one with brains the reverse lettering
2000-1903
translates from Arabic
1903-2000
"
Now the actions of His Majesty brought to lines in the article:
There is nothing too far from the reality: a person, even Father of Independency and Mr President can not be born in 2000 to die in 1903. His Majesty demonstrates that the Numista readers should take this absurd as the official statement of the territory. It is very very humiliating with respect to not only Muslim countries (see the link in the first post https://en.numista.com/forum/topic51669.html to discussion of the spreading His hate to Muslim countries as usual) but to the memory of passed people.
translation has millennia of practice and the Arabic 2000-1903 is translated into English as 1903-2000, or as seen on the image of the Reverse of the coin 2021-1443 is translated as 1443-2021. It is simple, scientific and creates no contradictions. In the discussion above the only reason was found, why a Numista team member behaves in such way.
As usual (see the first post https://en.numista.com/forum/topic51669.html His Majesty was very quick and did not correct the order of the sides: the USA will not allow to make the side with passed president the Rev., the same with the USSR: the sides with the communist leaders are always Obverse. And the rule in numismatics textbooks states the same.
His Majesty was so quick that the reason of commemorating
was
Commemorative issue
22nd anniversary of the death of President Habib Bourguiba
now
Commemorative issue
Habib Bourguiba
.
What?
Where is a document? Each coin is an official issue, which is accompanied with law of emission and no one presented it in this discussion. How did His Majesty check? Or it is just personal taste to switch from honorable celebration of 22 years of Memory of beloved leader to just, oh, the issue is about some-one, yes, his name is. What if the emission document just states that the coin is issued without any celebration?
We are dealing with catalog, there is no place for personal ambitions or guessing here.
Commemorative event is corrected. According to guidelines, these dates do not even need to be translated, but are written without any guideline errors.
By the way, do you know that your post constitues obvious harassment, which should result in ban of your menacing presence on the forum?
These requests could definitely be made in a respectful manner instead of with spite and malice. It makes the forums a very hostile environment.
That said, I was looking through the catalog and found these three other coins from 2002 that were earlier versions of the coin in question. There is a fair bit of inconsistency with the descriptions, translations and coin types. Since we appear to have hashed out the written bits fairly well for the 2021 issue, it might be worth while to adjust the others to match (with the corresponding dates of course).
