Would it be worth adding flags for the Lordship of Ireland (which lasted from 1171 to 1542) and the Kingdom of Ireland (which lasted from 1542 to 1801)?
Below are the respective flags:

Another that could be added could be this raven banner used by the Norse kings of Dublin:

No worries if none of these are possible.
More of a random suggestion than anything else.

What a great idea.

Aidan.

Yes but can you link examples of coins where you need those flags please?

Oh yeah of course!
So I'll send a link to each of the ruling authorities for each.

Hiberno-Norse Kingdom of Dublin:
Sigtrygg II Silkbeard Olafsson - N#307051
Anonymous - N#322881

Lordship of Ireland:
John Lackland - N#55261
Henry III - N#55163
Edward I - N#55258
Edward III - N#333163
Edward IV - N#334308
Richard III - N#333410
Henry VII - N#332108
Henry VIII - N#332322

Kingdom of Ireland:

Henry VIII - N#55255

Edward VI - N#239628

Mary I - N#331821

Philip and Mary I - N#17867

Elizabeth I - N#332421

James I - N#332416

Charles I - N#55272
James Butler - N#147108

I also remembered that during England's brief period as the Commonwealth, the Irish Catholic Confederation was formed. Lasting from 1642 to 1652 with a flag of its own as well:

Flag of Ireland

It too had its share of coins issued during the period:
N#332451
N#332452
N#332394
N#147106

The coins from the Great Rebellion could also be classed under the Confederation.

N#147056

Then it was back to the Kingdom of Ireland after the restoration.

Charles II - N#43173

James II - N#16089

William III & Mary II - N#41084

William III - N#232147

Anne - There aren't any Queen Anne coins listed on Numista. But I did find this article on irishcoinage.com with information and pictures of a coin issued during her reign: www.irishcoinage.com/J01325.HTM (Unsecure site warning)

George I - N#37898

George II - N#333187

George III - N#5528

It was then during George III's reign that the Kingdom of Ireland was merged with the United Kingdom, becoming the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, which uses the same Union Jack of today. So entirely up to yourselves whether you'd want to add that onto coins from 1802 to the establishment of the Irish Free State in 1922.

Sorry by the way. I hope this isn't too much info.
Went down a bit of a rabbit hole. Felt it was worth adding some variety to Ireland's long history of coins.

Thanks, I added the 3 flags, let me know if everything's fine ! :-)
