Hello experts!

 

I know this worth nothing, but I would like to at least know were it is from:

 

Looks like a guy with a hat and some latin letters in the other side

 

Diameter: 17mm
Weight: 0.62g

 

Any comment will be appreciated

Centuries old, possibly europe

To me it looks less like a man in a hat (although that would be pretty funny) and more like a city gate with two towers to the sides. Certainly very worn, but I think with a bit of luck it is identifiable 

Check Byzantium or maybe umayyad ?
