Hello,
I have a " coin box " made from 1 Rupee India 1919 and 1916.
The diameter is 3 cm outside and 2,6 cm inside.
The height is 2 cm.
Perhaps anyone of you have an idea for what it was used.
Some people said it was used for pills or for matches.

Yeah ha a snuff box there's an old feller by me who still has snuff or something similar haha !

It is a snuff box. There are many similar varieties available.

Don't sell yourself short on it. I have seen one similar to yours, also made of Indian silver coins, sell for well over $100.

I see boxes like this from time to time at antique fairs in Europe, silver ones were usually around 30-100€ Never seen one for over that price.

30-100 euros is about NZ$50 to NZ$170, so one that sold for 100 euros would definitely be considered well over $100.
