Is there really such a coin in 2019?
Or is there only the one with the 6th portrait?
Up to now I could only find the latter
The coin was issued with both obverses in 2019 as were quite a lot of Australian coins. Both the RAM and Perth Mint switched over halfway through the year from the IRB 4th portrait to the JC 6th portrait. (I bet you want to know what happened to the 5th portrait haha)
Here is an example on Australian Ebay of both types

If the mint has the opportunity to issue and sell two coins instead of one, they will do it as this double their profit. The same was in 2015 in UK (standard coins issued with IRB and JC obverses) and I guess this will probably repeat in 2023 in Australia (transition obverse + new Charles obverse).

You are right .. In fact we have already had the standard JC Obverse and the JC Memorial Obverse on Australian coins so far in 2023. When they issue the first King Charles obverse on a 2023 coin that will make it three different obverses in the same year.
Just as an example the Definitive 20 cent coin was issued with the normal JC Obverse in the year mint and proof sets for 2023.
Then it was also issued with the memorial Obverse in the Creatures of the Deep Lunch Kit.
My bet is they will issue a special set with all six definitive coins with the King Charles Obverse later this year at the same time they are issued into circulation.

Thx, I hope you are right. Though using eBay pictures is very dangerous in this regard. I've already bought 3 such coins in the last 6 months via eBay which had the picture of the 4th portrait but were then delivered having the 6th portrait instead. The problem here is that the year is not on the same side as the portrait :(

Yes, three different: “old” style 2023 coins, transition obverse 2023 + 1952-2022 and probably new one with Charles… RAM was not prepared to implement new Charles III portrait before 6th May, because they could even make four different version with special issue for Coronation and the “normal” one for end of year… Just joking but looking at the number of issued coins in last few years, I would be not surprised if they do this way (but this is already too late) ;-)
