2 Pence with “New Pence” [επιλυμένο]

Have this one 2 Pence with the inscription “New Pence”! Saw in certain sites that it might value something. Is that true? If so, how much?

You forgot one side were is the date.

In 1971 the pound was decimalized and the word “new” was removed afther mid-80 and replaced as 2 Pence.

Numista rarity index “2” means its one of the most common coins ever made. If not key date, then the value is few cents.

Amazing how these  coins that worth little are being sold at such expensive price on ebay.

 Unscrupulous sellers are trying to cash in on the rare [1983] date - 

where someone at the Royal Mint mistakenly used a wrong die from the archive cabinet.
