Yes, asimov37 is correct in reading the date on the coin as 2036. This is in Vikrim Samvat (VS) dating, and to convert to AD dating one needs to subtract 57, so the coin date is 2036-57 = 1979. Here's the Numista listing for this coin.

 It's copper-nickel, not .800 silver, but it appears to be in uncirculated condition.
