UK £2.00 2015. Why is the centre so shiny, whereas the outer is normal looking [επιλυμένο]

Picked up this 2 pound coin at my local post office this afternoon, and the striking thing about it, is the fact that the outer part looks completely normal for 2015, but the inner part looks really new & shiny, with hardly any wear. Edge looks a bit suspect too, as lettering is offset. Letters touching obverse edge.

Anybody have any idea as to why this maybe so. I am looking at a fake, but you guys out there, may tell me something different.

Thanks in advance for any information

Please show the edge of the coin? The middles are fairly easy to pop out if put in the freezer…

Fake. The portrait does not look correct.

Agree.

These are the best I can do for edge lettering.

Question?

Why would someone put a lovely new centre in with an obviously old outer.

No - it is also a fake outer.

The lettering almost looks correct but not quite.

It is too raised up and more bold as well.

Plus each letter points in the wrong part -

such as GRA has the A pointing between beads,

on a genuine coin, but not on yours.

 In my opinion.

As an item of pure interest, II will keep it along with a few other fakes I have.
