Hi,
I have recently bought the Sri Lankan 5 Rupee Non-Aligned Movement Summit Commemorative Coin .
(Numista Ref: N#21310)
According to Numista Catalogue, Orientation of this coin is Coin Alignment & Dia is 32 mm.
But the coin I have, is having Medal Orientation (As most of the Sri Lankan Coins) & Dia is around ~32.8 mm.
So I checked with other forums, Some of them says it is Medal Orientation & Dia is 32.84 mm.
Official Ref: https://www.cbsl.gov.lk/en/notes-coins/notes-and-coins/commemorative-coins-and-notes
I am wondering is it a fake coin?
I am aware of Modern Chinese Fake coins of rare Gold & Silver coins are produced and available in market .
Are they making fakes of other metal (Like Ni, CU-Ni etc.,) coins also??
If yes, it is very sad to hear.
Kindly assist.
Thanks in Advance.
