Without pictures, it will be very difficult for anyone to help you. Could you please post clear pictures of each side of your item?

count -defaced coins-If the year 1945 P is there, you have a bonus, and 44 D is a miracle

Welcome to numista.

Since you already know, which coins and dates are in your possession, you can look them up on the coin page. Find the page by using this

To help you a bit further, I'll just have to tell you, that manipulated coins, as in a bracelet, are the lowest grade, you can find, so the value will only be the market value (-15% to 25% for the dealer) of the basic alloy of the bracelet. So weigh it and find the spot value and then use the rule of three, to get the value.

I hope you'll go on enjoying collecting coins.

Take care

Thank you for the replies. The bracelet contains all 10 cent coins: 1936, 1937, three 1938, 1939p, 1939, two 1941, and a 1944p. I'm wondering if it's more valuable to leave it intact, or separately. Considering giving it to my son. Would like to k ow what to tell him. Thank you so much!

Our expertise here on Numista is in coins and we don't focus on jewelry. Having said that,  from a coin value and coin collectors perspective, these silver coins alone even in pristine condition would be valued at around $3 U.S. each.  Of course they are not pristine as they have been altered into a piece of jewelry diminishing their value from a coin collectors point of view . It is a beautiful, well crafted piece of jewelry and my conclusion is that there is more value in it as a piece of jewelry. I would not break it up and destroy it. If I had this piece, I would give it to my daughter as a piece of jewelry.

I send a nice greeting.

So this is another and better formulated question, and this is my opinion:

-keep and donate

-such bracelets with silver coins were made by jewelers for onion watches in the 19th century, they were worn in a small pocket in a jacket or in the calottes of a suit

-even these days, such a piece of jewelry is a good gift for a son (considering his age), he just wants to complete it with the onion watch

An example of an onion watch and to combine it with a bracelet (this one is for 13 $) and there are many others for 20:

about 13,30 $

Here is an example of a bracelet with Roman coins in the auction on the website for 27$:

Who gives with love - gives twice (nice gift), individual coins would really only be of low value with this damage.
