I am having problems identifying this coin. Any help is appreciated.

I'm unsure.

In my opinion it is a medal or souvenir item. It is Turkish style (half moon and sultans sign, but I cannot find year, value or signs of use)

Please provide weight & diameter.

always be suspicious, when you see a hole, this often means, what Grinya just stated nicely, I would have said part of a belly dancer's costume🙃

Interesting information. So, is this text or decorative doodles? If the former, does anyone know where to have it deciphered?

 Compare your first picture to that on this token.

The three lines on yours are similar to lines 1 2 4 on there.

yes, there are no real arabic characters or numbers, and ever the tughra is just silly squiggles.

Please provide weight & diameter.

Weight = 6 grams, diameter = 16.5 mm, thickness = 1.4 mm.

Edge is worn but appears to have characters and/or doodles.

I have since found another coin/medal using a search engine and the author posted the text “From the Order of Nishan Ottoman Old Sultan Al-Birin and the Khaqan of Bahrain Izz Nasr”. I used the search engine translator so I'm not sure about the meaning of the translation. I am now waiting for an answer from the person who posted the photo.
