Not entirely correct, it is circulating currency and is worth one penny 😄

Some clown was asking £2000 for a 1971 two pence piece calling it ultra rare. There were only around 2 billion minted.

I just wanted to make sure, cause I have about 10 of these 1974 pennies, and I was unable to find anything “rare” elsewhere online.

Kinda disappointed as well, cause I was hoping to get rich with my 10 pennies 🙁

Clicking on that page you see more. What is it with this 1971 or 1970s era pennies and 2p's that seems to think these clowns are sitting on coins worth tens of thousands. One referred to his £2000+ plus coin as a “rear first edtion” - I mean can't feebay shut these daft listings down.

The mentally challenged obviously saw the piece about the 1983 mule 2p and got the idea that any 2p and 1p with “new pence” on the reverse was with mega money. 

Found a 1971 2p for $1500.

Reading the description, sounds like the seller is factoring in the sentimental value of this penny 🙂

On that note, I've got a 1964 penny…maybe I can try my luck with 900,000 😄
