Found in the water of Lake Biwa (Shiga Prefecture Japan) while metal detecting.
Would be grateful if anyone could shed some light on this as we haven't been able to find anything similar
It is quite heavy at 79g.

From that third picture is the diameter around 58mm or different; cannot easily tell.
Token collector [1600-1899] with some coins

It is not exactly round but i think about 57 or 58mm diamerer and about 3mm thick
Hello

This kind of stamping were more on gold coins for what I know
Maybe you could find some more information here

Nice and interesting find
I will try to go further
I don't think it's a charm because it takes the official seal of Japan

Looks like it was gold plated
The most interesting thing would be to be able to have the translation of the two characters in the cartridge (Unfortunately I am unable to)
Maybe one of the members of numista who can read Japanese can help us.
It depicts an electrum bar coin and is the stylized signature of the Mint Official Gotō Shozaburo Mitsutsugu (光次)
