I have recently been left a coin. A 1973 consecration of st barnabus. I would just like to know if it’s worth anything? I’ve looked online and found a bronze one in bad condition and the one I have is in a silver finish and in very good condition. Just wondering if anyone knows anything about it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Yea that’s the one I found online. It’s exactly that coin but just silver, and it has some form of hall mark on the rim. Just wondering if it’s actually worth anything or just worth keeping as an heirloom.
thanks for getting back to me though.
Im not going to re-google. I can imagine there have been 10 or perhaps 30 St.Barnards Greek Orthodox churches in North America.
In these cases, it would require finding a buyer who cared about that particular St. Barnards, and got a nostalgic yenn for this, and if such a rare buyer appeared, wouldnt you just give it to him/her, rather than take them for whatever they will part with..?

This particular token commemorates the consecration of St. Barnabas church in Cyprus but I agree that it's probably worth the most to people associated with that church.
