Hi,

I got this coin in a swap via Numista, but I'm not convinced that it's the same coin as in the swap (which was offered as https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces17565.html, 1964).

The coin weighs 4,39 grams and has a diameter of around 19,2 mm and a thickness of 1,5 mm.

Any help is appreciated!
They say "Pecunia non olet", but I know better...
You are correct, it doesn't quite match. Rather than the KM#45 in the Numista link given, the writing on yours looks like KM#43, also a dokdo of Rasul Muhammad Khan, and with about the same value. These are only listed for the date VS 1963 = AD 1906.

Again, I'm not convinced that it's KM#43. If you compare both sides, there are quite some differences. On the pictures from Numista (the bottom one left), I can see a ۵ (5), but that is not on my coin. Also, the diameter is off by almost 1 mm and the weight is off by more than 1 gram. Could it be that it's a difference Princely state?

When I compare your coin with the coin on the Numista page, it's obvious different dies are used. The shape and place of the characters/symbols differ a bit in shape and place, but as you can see, ALL those characters/symbols/dots are on both your coin and the Numista coin. Unfortunately your coin is too worn just where the dates are. On the obverse you could still see parts of the 1 and 6 but on the reverse you can't read anything anymore (where that ۵ (5) should be).
I'm certainly not an expert (and I can't read the language) but I believe Seeker55 is right and your coin is KM#43, admittedly with other dies.

Ok, thanks :)

I wouldn't mark it as "solved" yet (although it very well might be). There are real experts here, like Parimal and sujit (and others) and they can read the language. Their opinions are far more important than mine. If you mark the topic as "solved" they probably won't read it anymore.

Thanks for that hint :)
