Hello, I have these two 1 dinar coins 1977. They have different sized date letters. Is this what is described as "wreath variety"? :°
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces2000.html (oh, cool coin number).
I don't see any difference in the wreath, except that on one coin it looks like a higher profile. But the date letters are clearly different (about 1.4 mm and 1.2 mm height of the "7").

I read somewhere on internet it is where the wreath starts, not the whole wreath design.
On your first coin the left wreath starts higher up (with reference to the top of the D on the right of it).
As in the D of DINAR below the first of the six stars. The second coin has the wreath starting a small amount lower.

Thanks for the hint, that's another difference.
But now I see what they meant on another web page: the stalks of the upper two acorns start on the top edge of the leaves on the left coins, while they start earlier and go alongside the leaves on the right coin.
