I’ve got one of these coins in my collection and from looking at the coin in Numista it has its dedicate section for it. The coin is fairly rare to find due to the near rim variety has the date nearly touching the rim of the middle piece so I assume that yours is the same but the one struck in the rim or on the metal that was sliced off.
Hi to whoever is reading this. Did you know that TYPEWRITER (on a QWERTY keyboard) is the longest word you can type using only the letters on one row of the keyboard.
But it is an interesting coin. Looking through examples of the 1993 500 Lire Banca d'Italia commemorative, it looks like most of these do not have an upturned rim on the central insert. When there is an upturned rim, it hides the "1" in 1983.
I can find an example like yours on eBay that sold for $1.15.

If you assume 1000 Numista members have entered a coin(s) on this page (about right for an NRI of 6) then of the 1059 total coins represented only 2 would be the 893-1993 error coins (0.2% frequency). That implies they are rare not fairly common.

Corrected mistake.

Thank you so much for the in-depth research! I think the 9 euro underestimated the real coin's worth even if its not super rare its still an error coin so I don't really think it would be worth 9 euros after all.
Again, thank you for your assistance much appreciated.
This is a very common error. The prices reported are for UNC coins, that isn't your case. The value of this coin is very low, just a curiosity nothing more
