Hello,

It is possible to add a comment section to the "past auction sales" tab. It would be very useful to add some information to the coins (e.g if the coins have a distinctive varitety, etc.).

For example, comments describing sales of coins with varities will be moved to the Auction tab for these two coins, but a comment section would be needed to add their specifics.

Unus pro omnibus, omnes pro uno
The coins in the comments are errors not varieties and shouldn't be listed in the first place.
Yes indeed they’re errors and not varieties. Varieties should be in the main comment section.

These mistakes are often unique and sold at very high prices in auction house. If you have a section dedicated to sales, why not add them? It would just be adding a comment section in the sales section and it would be perfect!

Because errors are most often unique and you could fill the comment section with thousands and thousands of them what makes these 3 errors different from all the other errors? There are reason that Numista doesn't list them.
That's right, it takes up space in the main comments. However I personally don't find it disturbing to put them in the auction section because it's at the bottom of the page, and It don't take up much space.

The purpose isn’t to list all the possible hundreds of errors, but to list the few sales of the coin in auction houses.
Unus pro omnibus, omnes pro uno
Hello,
I don't see any issue to have errors, varieties, etc. listed as part of the list of auction sales.
We already have a free text field for the grade details, and probably we could use it also to indicate errors or other specificities.
Here is an example for a coin with chopmarks: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces15060.html
Yes indeed, I thought I’d put the information in this text field but the characters are too limited, I can’t put all the information : https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces173.html
In addition, it's not possible to translate them into English or French.
For these two reasons, I would find it useful to add a translable commentary section.
