Kindly I request your support to identify this coin as I cannot find it in the Numista catalog.
A bit of story about this coin:
I found this coin in a plastic bag from the 1980s in my parents' house, (they used to keep bags of coins from the 1960's, 1970's and 1980's at home) full of other copper coins that are more or less the same size as this coin, so, it looks like the coin was given as change.
I'm providing several pictures of this coin, but because of the age (it still can be seen the date 1720 - separated as 17 - heraldic/royal shield - 20), and the poor form of storage, some info in the center can be seen, but the info in the periphery (very important part to locate the country and value of the coin) is almost gone.
Coin info:
Weight: unknown.
Diameter: 23 mm at least.
Metal: Copper.
The first set of pictures of the OBVERSE (5) include north, east, west, south, and an illuminated picture showing the details of the lettering as best as possible.
When trying to identify the coin by myself, this is the information that I read in the coin:
"...ERGH ES. D.G. GEO..." or "...ERGRES. D.G. GEO...",
Date Separated as "17 - heraldic/royal shield - 20", as 1720
Spanish coin (?): "ES . D.G."
The second set of pictures of the REVERSE include north, east, west, and south. Unfortunately, the lettering of this side is almost gone, so I cannot read anything at all.
I just can see 5 types of shields, but I'm not familiar with any Spanish/Mexican heraldic shield shown in the pictures.
