Dominica is in the East Caribbean States currency union - which means that the East Caribbean States Dollar is legal tender in Dominica.
Any medal-coins struck in the name of the Commonwealth of Dominica (which is actually a British Commonwealth republic since 1978) are denominated in East Caribbean States Dollars.
