And also some standar coins but UNC. Really loving the 50 escudos desing, I always find it in really bad shape and it is good to see one perfectly preserved
Se queres ca muller che queira, ten diñeiro na carteira
I wasnt thinking about keeping the conmemorative poland ones, just got them really cheap thinking about swaping them but this desing even without detail looks great
Se queres ca muller che queira, ten diñeiro na carteira
New Zealand penny, 1956 the rare strapless variety (Just 50k issued).
It does not look like much, but these babies are rare and a true key in
the New Zealand coin series (Up there with 1935 3d).
UK Florin 1962 in mint fresh condition, straight from the vaults and into my collection - very cheap too at just $8 (Sure a common date, but what is wrong with getting nice examples of the later dates too)
A bit toned, but a nice Australian 3d in aEF condition. 1927 and unbelieveably hard to find early Australian silver that is not heavily worn.
I love coins. Especially silver, gold and anything really old.

Got two nice medals:
1902 medal celebrating the 50th reign anniversary of Grand Duke Friedrich I. of Baden
Tin strike of a saxonian medal from the reign of August II. "The Strong" Duke of Saxony and first Wettin King of Poland. His coins and medals are very wanted so I guess I have to be happy with this one for a while. The topic of the medal is the change of religion August did to become King of Poland.
"Some low hanging fruit on my way to 250 countries"
-Great way of putting it 'Peter M. Graham'
You want some low hanging fruit? I just picked up (the last 2 -$20 & $50) this past week. (mail's taking ages) Been accumulating lots of the "over-ripe" cheap stuff (few people want) sitting in the "bargain bin" including this $10 (P-15) from Solomons end of 2020 (so I'll post the set):
(they're all inexpensive & large format - which I'm beginning to like). The later versions are even cheaper sold in sets (but smaller).
My Australian Florin collection got a little larger.
1959 Upgrade to gEF/AU example
1944 Melbourne, last 1940s Florin I needed, EF to near AU
1925 Fine, probably cleaned in past so Fine details
1924 gVG/VG nice natural coin - circulation cameo
1916 Damaged aVG, cud or mint damage?

like 10 dollars, I can't find these coins at my local LCS.. especially the 5 rand would be impossible, so I bought a ton of this coin sets from these seller from different country's
I actually think $10 is expensive, the 1c to 5c are not used and the rand is at 15 to the US$1, You paid $10 for about 60 cents worth of coins and $1 worth of holders.
I think $3 to $5 would have been more reasonable, sorry.

I have to agree, that's why I've asked you how much you've paid. I've got 25 of these new 5 Rand coins and never paid more than 0.50 €. All the other denominations you can easily find here for 0.25 €. So 2.5 to 3 € would be the price for your set (without the flips).
But I have to admit, Belgium is a paradise for coin collectors: before corona I could go to about 8 coin fairs EVERY weekend, within a 150 km radius.

And where may one find a South African coin set for $3-$5 ??
Got two nice new medals:
1973 Silver medal celebrating the marriage of Princess Anne and Mark Phillips:
German token featuring Prince Heinrich (Brother of Emperor Wilhelm II.) and Prince Adalbert (Third son of Wilhelm II.). I sadly haven't found the occasion for the issue of this token yet but both princes lived in my home city Kiel which made me interested in it:
I visited a coin store for the first time this month. I bought a mixed bag of Swiss pocket change for US$15.
I count CHF33.13, that is about US$36! If I ever go to Switzerland again, I will bring a jingly pocketful of cash! But that will never happen, so really it is worth far less than its face value over here, and of course no bank will touch it.
No silver of course, but some nicer dates among the rappen coins. I have collected silver Swiss francs for a long time I avoided rappen until now.
also some odd items of interest, for $1 each.
Jamais l'or n'a perdu la plus petite occasion de se montrer stupide. -Balzac
Clockwise from top right:
The Hongkong & Shanghai Banking Corporation "HSBC" $50 (1969)
HSBC $10 (1953)
Japanese military occupation 100 yen (1944) [this one was a steal at HKD15]
Hong Kong Government $1 (1949)
HSBC $5 (1964 and 1972)
Standard Chartered $20 (1993 and 1996)
18/3 update
HSBC $5 (1941)
Hong Kong 10 cents (1960 and 1964)
Hong Kong Government $1 (1952 right, 1954 left)
[These were a steal, around 30 to 40 percent what I'd paid for similar stuff last month.]
25/3 update
HSBC $5 (1960 and 1969)
Hong Kong Government $1 (1957)
The Chartered Bank $100 (no date, 1970-1975) with prefix A

I don't know where you can find the sets right now exactly, but here are some coin sets I bought the last years (with a few examples of sets):
1. Coins of the World:
The left one are 25 sets for 81.75 € = 3.27 per set.
The right one are 32 sets for 95.80 € = 2.99 per set.
2. Coin sets of all nations
One box with 29 sets for 82.84 € = 2.86 € per set
Another box, also with 29 sets for 86.30 € = 2.98 € per set
3. Das Geld der Welt
2 binders with 20 sets each, and two pages with small coins for 80 € = 2 € per set (and the two pages with small coins for free)
4. Job lot with different sets
The whole box with 50 sets for 90 € = 1.80 per set (as you can see, the price is on the back of the set but I've got some discount because I bought so many. Afterwards I felt sorry for myself I didn't bought them all because he had a lot more of them. The ones I didn't buy were all from Europe and I already had all those coins, but for that price and that condition it was a mistake to leave them there.
5. Job lot with different sets and loose coins
50 sets and hundreds of loose coins (mostly in Unc condition) with a total weight of circa 4 kg for 162.80 €. Since it's a combination of sets and loose coins it's difficult to say how much per set, but you could say 3.26 € per set and all the loose coins for free.
And here the South African sets in these lots:
For 2.99 €
For 2.98 €
For less than 3 € (and with a nice alignment error for the 2 cents coin)
So 10 € for your set really isn't cheap (and certainly not for the condition some of them are in).
Thank you for those suggestions but still fairly expensive. I live in canada so the euro is about $1.50 Canadian. shipping costs a lot depending on the seller ( usually 4-5 euros, roughly 5-7 dollars). one of your suggested sets is 3 euros and 4-5 euros shipping . The set I bought was 10 Canadian dollars with free shipping , 7 euros in your case.
so in the end the set I bought equates to be the same as your sets, for me I dont care about condition or quality, as long as I am satisfied its a deal for me
BTW the coin holders where mine and this is the original set that I got,
would you mind linking some of the sets you bought so I can do some comparisons
I received this banknote a few days ago. I have gotten into banknotes lately, especially large format ones.
Montenegro, 10 Perpera, 1914, Date: 1914-07-25. KM:18. EF(40-45). Nicholas I.
Serial number: Ж.10 - 191. Pick #: 18
Condition: ~VF [I believe the vendor over enhanced the condition a little, but the note was still acceptable for the price]
Dimensions: 159 x 104 mm.

Great lot!! Your NZ set in that Dutch language lot does not have a 2004 5 cent coin does it. Until recently it was quite scarce and one reason was several thousands were sold to European coin set makers in the mid 2000s. I have see German language sets that look similar to yours, but never Dutch (I see you live in Flanders) so my guess is if they are being made in Belgium - were these sets also issued in French and German and even in English for possible British people wanting to buy them?
Thanks for validiating my point too.
Also the person who asked about my buying of SA sets cheaply. I buy most of my world bulk coins off two ladies who run a charity shop (Many of you may be familiar with my posts in the monthly threads where I usually land another bag of world mix. I have pulled out many South African coins (But will confess the 5 rand still eludes me), but have all the coins of the 2nd (1960s - 1989) and 3rd (1990 - 1996) and 4th (Same but with copper coloured 10c and African languages reverses) of South African change coins. I pay these ladies low, like on average 10 cents a coin, meaning I would have paid 80 cents in total for the 1c to 2 rand and maybe I would pay 50 cents if a 5 Rand coin popped up (NZ its 11 rand to our dollar).
They are happy with this and I will pay more for high face value coins like dollars, euros, new pounds, canadian loonies and twonies etc.
I love coins. Especially silver, gold and anything really old.

First of all, as you can see on the picture, these sets were not made in Belgium but in the Netherlands. As you also can see on the pictures below, the certificate of authenticity with the description of the coins and the history of the country are written in Dutch but the coin set itself is only in English:
The set is a 2004-2005 mixture but the 5 cents is indeed a 2004.
I already had a 2004:
Is there a difference between the 2004 circulation coins struck in Llantrisant and the 2004 sets only coins struck in Canberra? I guess not since there's no information on the coin page but maybe you can confirm this?
The 5 Rand coin is easy to find here. I have 15 different ones in my collection and 21 doubles (these numbers are without the ones in sets since they're not processed yet). I've paid between 0.25 and 0.50 € per piece (although mostly 0.50 €).
Wow! I try to be nice and get told off, sorry I can't read Dutch and I am short sighted. The language and location were not immediately apparent to me as I only speak English and Maori.
Back to my beloved United Kingdom.

Hi to whoever is reading this. Did you know that TYPEWRITER (on a QWERTY keyboard) is the longest word you can type using only the letters on one row of the keyboard.
Won this rarity in a local auction - quite cheap too.

Some new medals in my collection:
1820 french medal about the murder of Charles Ferdinand Duc de Berry (Son of later King Charles X and father of the later bourbon pretender Henri (V.)
1811 french medal commemorating the birth of Napoleons son (Later for a short time Emperor Napoleon II.). Napoleon bestowed the title King of Rome from birth upon him.
And after a long time finally a new ancient addition:
Full Follis - Emperor Galerius - GENIO IMPERATORIS - Cyzikus mint
Tristan da Cunha 1 Crown 2010 Great British Heroes (in colour)
I have been trying to complete the un-coloured set of 19 coins for some time now, sadly without success. 5 still missing. I knew coloured versions existed, but only had seen three of them so the set of six came as a bit of a surprise.
Was then given a tip off about these coloured version set, so thought I would bid for them, and as you can obviously see, I won the auction.
The coloured version are of the following heroes:-
Winston Churchill
Douglas Bader
Keith Park
The Lone Soldier
Lord Kitchener*
Field Marshal Montgomery*
Strangely, two of them, marked with an asterix, I do not have in the un-coloured version.
Paid £27.00, including postage. Bargain
I have added them to Numista and awaiting validation

I bought 4 rolls of the NZ Anzac 50 cent coins, already sold one roll for twice what I paid for it (The original seller could not be bothered selling them himself on Trade Me or Ebay and was happy for my prices which gave him a good profit) - just for you woke people ready to accuse me of capitalism.
A joint NZ/Australia coin set from 1990, has a proof pair of $5 coins (Base metals) celebrating Anzac. This was first prize in a Interclub quiz contest!
Yes it pays to be smart and know your coins!

I am a little jealous of those old silvers and medals (I still have have a few years till my 20's but I'd say I'm not doing that bad, swaps are pretty fun though).

Hello everyone I’m a bit late but I still got it during March, It’s a 20 rupees coin , Hyderabad mint and so far, it’s my only coin in my collection which is minted in 2020
Hi there! I am an inexperienced collector with an interest in a lot of coins

You’re lucky because those two designs haven’t made it to my area yet but I’m still avoiding temptation to buy them online I leave those for world coins only,
