The designer's name can be written as R JOLY or as R·JOLY (with dot). Only for 1976 I've found both varieties within the same year:

Maybe other variety collectors can check their coins to see if there are more dates which have both varieties? Change request for 1976 is made.

Also the 50 Francs KM# 13 (https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces1485.html) has both varieties but for now not yet within the same year. So far I've found:

The same for 20 Francs KM# 13 (https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces1484.html) but for this type the variety is much more consistent in comparison with the 100 Francs: till 2001 all dates have R·JOLY as designer's name, from 2002 all dates have R JOLY (without the dot in between).
Only for 1997 I don't know since I don't have that date yet.
Till now I haven't found a date yet with both varieties.
