USA DIMES 19th century

Good Morning from the UK - I'm a new member so please be patient!
I have these two dimes in a box and my basic research tells me they have some value though how much or little is the challenge. Would they be classed as Fine or lower? UK sold prices seem much lower than US (this is from my basic research using ebay SOLD, not selling, prices).Any help would be very welcome. Thank you :).

Welcome to Numista. The 1838 O ( New Orleans mint, no stars obverse) seated liberty dime is about a G4 - G6 because you cant see any trace of "Liberty" on the shield for instance. End of the rainbow retail on that here in the states is about $64 U.S. The 1853 ( no mintmark, stars obverse, arrows at date, Philadelphia mint ) seated liberty dime is also about G4 -G6 for the same reasons and fully retails here in the states at around $17 U.S. Of course wholesale and swap vales will be lower.

Well thank you Harry. I appreciate the quality evaluation and knew the wear would affect grade on both coins. Would you say 50 USD be a fair asking price for both? (40 plus 10) - though I'm most likely to try and sell in the UK (50 USD is about £38 GBP). Regards
Being new here you cant sell on this site until you meet some criteria however I would be very keen on the 1838 O in that it is much more desirable due to it's lower mintage compared to the 1853 which I already have . Only about 400,000 minted versus about 12,000,000 for the 1853. $50 U.S. is very fair for the both if you can find someone in the U.K. that wants and collect this type of coin. It would probably be a much easier sell here in the U.S. on the open market, especially the earlier date. It is a very desirable coin to collectors like me who focus mainly on U.S. types.

Again thank you Harry. I will take your advices and consider what to do. What happens with shipping and taxes to US? That's one reason I'm not keen to sell across the pond!
Not sure about taxes if you do it on Ebay really as I avoid Ebay at all costs however the coins are tiny enough to discreetly mail in a regular envelope secured in a greeting card perhaps and the Postal systems will never know. Why don't you accumulate some coins you want to swap and start swapping for coins you desire? That is the main purpose of this site after all.
