I have a Canadian 1996 5 cent with an attached 6. I see in Coins and Canada it is a variety. How can I list this in Numista? Do you or do I need to make a new category? I can send you a picture if you need. Please let me know.
Thank You,
Ron

Απόσπασμα: "harryg"Welcome to Numista. It is always a good idea to provide photos when possible. If what you mean is "near 6" versus "far 6" the information is already there. If literally "attached" that may be considered as a new variety and you can request an addition with the approval of the Numista gods. Look at the "add or modify this page" at the bottom of this link.I am not very good on the computor. I will try to attach a picture. But I don't know how to add the coin to site.

Απόσπασμα: "FourRRRR's"I tried to go through and add this coin, but I get confused. Would you be able to add it? I got the information from this link https://www.coinsandcanada.com/coins-prices.php?coin=5-cents-1996&years=5-cents-1990-2003. Please let me know if you need something else from me.

Απόσπασμα: "Camerinvs"Hello,Okay, Thank You. I am new at Numista. So I was just wondering how I can put my coin into my list. Thank You So Much
This is not a variety, but an error. Have a look at the types of errors on the Coins and Canada page and you should be able to find it.
Normally, errors are not listed in the catalogue, except those that happen during die production ─ such as the inverted "A" in ∀ICTORIA on the 1872 50¢.
Απόσπασμα: "FourRRRR's"So to help me learn, I went to Coins and Canada and I see it listed as a variety. The error one is in the 6. Am I reading this correctly?

Απόσπασμα: "Camerinvs"Yours is a die chip. Edit: I wrote my message before seeing yours! So, I'll add here that yours is # 4. In case you haven't noticed yet, if you already have a regular nickel of the same year, you can add a line for this one and add a comment that it is a die chip.Thank You So Much for all your education, very much appreciated
I have saved a few errors from my change over the years: die chips, clipped planchets, various planchet flaws, even one example of the 1962 "guitar" when we still had the penny...
Here is one of my most spectacular ─and yet unexplained─ error; I purchased it from a US seller (eBay auction) and nobody seems to have noticed:
Those lines are raised, so they are incused on the die!
