Hi there, I have 4 George V coins which I think are halfpenny’s?
they only have the obverse on them and they vary in colour tone, also they feel “light” I will try to weigh them if that helps with id info and possible value x
I really appreciate any help to id them and any further info advice or value perhaps x
thank you in advance
They appear to be rubbed down on the reverse.
Hi thank you for your reply, yes I do see what you see, but the only wear marks are on the obverse not the blank side? These were found in the floorboards many years ago
I would say they feel light because of how worn down they are on the reverse.

Natural toning does sometimes differ, even in the same environment.
I see yes it would explain it, perhaps the story I was given attatched to the coins about them being found in the floorboards At the mint was a tall tale? Shame though thanks for your time x

I think some one was making 2-headed coins.

they are novelty, being damaged or modified coins.
they could have been prepared to make love tokens or other hand made art, besides my other notion.
They are very beautifully colored and almost uncirculated, and i think desirable in certain quarters.

If you wish to find the value offer them for sale in auction.
