Ireland 1818 1 Penny currency token - still pending since 12 September!

I have this still pending since 12 September!





It is ridiculous to have been asked for a catalogue number when I don't have a copy of the catalogue that lists this.

I have seen your request, and changed it - it is a token not coin.

This should be in the 'Coins' section, along with all the other currency tokens that circulated as coins in the late 18th. & early 19th. Centuries during the severe coin shortage.

Somebody had better change the section then - it currently reads
Ireland • Currency tokens (1757-1816)
and at least should be
Ireland • Currency tokens (1757-1822)
as there is yours for 1818 and another in there dated 1822.

I have asked the referees to hopefully change the end date -
then I will make a request to move the token into there,
together with that other 1818 token I mentioned earlier.

Don't forget that there is also the Farthing tokens that were struck after 1830 as well - which are also listed in a separate catalogue.

They circulated as coins during the reigns of King William IV & Queen Victoria.
