Not sure where to even start with this one. [επιλυμένο]

Didn't have a chance to weigh this one before it was put into a coin flip.
Diameter is a hair over 3/16ths of an inch.
Material. Not sure bronze maybe.

I doubt it is oriented correctly in the photos. Anyway the one side reminds me of mint marks I've seen on the reverse of old chinese coins. Leading me to think it may be Asian in origin? The other side depicts what I assume is supposed to be the sun. This is a very small coin, it is dwarfed by a U.S. Dime. Anything to go on will be helpful. I'm not even sure where to start with this one.

Obviously I'm very new to all of this. I can't give much info about the coin because it is part of what was until recently, just a whole bunch of coins in a box, that had been accumulated by multiple members of my family over the course of at least a couple of generations. I am the probably the first to actually attempt to catalog and organize it, It's been quite an adventure in history and geography to say the least. Anyway any help would be appreciated.
thx.

Thank you so much your help. It is very much appreciated.

The coins in those links are exactly the coin. However the diameter of those coins is almost twice that of mine. 3/16ths of a inch. is like 4.76 mm. Those links point to coins that are in the neighborhood of 11mm.. curious.

Please recheck your diameter measurement, and use millimeters. Your measurement of 3/16" is less than ¼" and this would be a miniscule coin. I don't believe that is correct. Your coin is indeed a Travancore cash.
These would be the relative sizes of an original size (10.8mm) right and your claimed size (4.76mm) left compared to a US quarter. If it's really this size you have a nice macro lens. :wiz:
I double check my measurements, and they were the same, then I checked the ruler against a measuring tape and it is off. My mistake, the coin is 3/8 " in diameter. My original post says 3/16" that is very tiny indeed. It is 3/8ths. According to the wooden hand made ruler from australia it looks like 3/16.
