Hello, I have found this coin, trying to identify it I have seen that it is similar to these two but without being either of them since at the bottom it says "ONE D" and I cannot find the one dollar variant. Also the coin has no border and seems to be poorly minted, the face also looks weird… Is it some type of rare coin? Falsification? If someone can help me I would appreciate it very much.
I'd be inclined to believe that this is a fake / counterfeit coin. I'm not aware of any One Dollar US gold coins with that obverse/reverse. And as you said, the details are pretty crude.
