The reverse of the coin features Ophrys bertolonii, one of the most intriguing wild orchids found in San Marino. Commonly known as the “Mirror Bird” for the unique shape of its petals—resembling a small bird reflected in water—this orchid is a remarkable example of the extraordinary co-evolution between plants and insects.
