Sceaux de la collection Khoury

The forty-nine seals of the Khoury collection, for the most part from Antioch, form a supplement to the collection of the archeological museum of Hatay (Antioch). They are all unpublished, though some have been known through parallel pieces. Their chronological distribution corresponds to the period of Byzantine rule over the metropolis of Northern Syria. These pieces bring new elements to our knowledge of local society.
